Scrubs are nothing new and one of the most common skin care tool. But scrubs from the Indian origin "Made in Bharath" is really new. Patanjali stands to be the only Indian manufacturing brand with all natural products without any complaints of allergies and being cost effecient.
Thanks to Patanjali for some of its awesome products. Here is a review on Patanjali Apricot Face Scrub.

Patanjali Apricot Face Scrub

Price and quantity: Rs 60 for 60g

Ingredients:

Patanjali Apricot Face Scrub

Claims:

Patanjali Apricot Face Scrub

Package:  It is available in a white tube with a flip cap.  I always have dissatisfaction in the patanjali packaging, the cap is not messy but the problem is it easily tends to open on contact with other objects. So you should be careful before dumping into your bags. Also the cap loses its fitness on continuous use.  It has a controlled flow with a tiny hole.

Nature:  The scrub is thick creamy with brown coloured micro granules. Unlike the face scrubs of other brands, this patanjali apricot scrub is creamy and does not show any foam until dipped in water. Small pea sizes of the quantity is sufficient and remember to add water to the product or wet your face before application, otherwise the product shows difficulty in spreading. Wetting the face is best which eases in spreading the face entirely.

Usually the scrubs have a restricted use and show a need of moisturizer after usage. But in this product both the drawbacks are overruled. The scrub is mild and helps cleansing and glowing the skin. The granules help to open the pores making them dirt free.  Rubbing the product in circular motions for 2 minutes helps to remove the damaged skin cells acting as an excellent exfoliate to skin. Rinsing is easy with splashes of water and pat to dry. It gives a cooling effect and makes you feel some natural breeze blooming between your skins.

I usually carry the scrub while I travel or even at bedtime which cleanses minute skin pores making skin feel soft and fresh. The product is so mild that I did not find usage of moisturizers at any point of usage. The product claiming to be natural and fruit based can be used regularly without any negative effects.

And regarding the claims of the product it claims to tighten up skin, fight up wrinkles and pimples. I do not have experience on these benefits but yes the product is safe and aims towards cleaning up skin.

Fragrance:  Mild scent

Pros of Patanjali Apricot Face Scrub:
  • Mild product
  • Tube like hygiene packing
  • Makes skin soft, glowing and clean
  • Cost efficient

  • Has no side effects towards skin.
Cons of Patanjali Apricot Face Scrub:

Quality wise it has no complaints, but the packing can be made still more travel friendly.
