This shampoo was a part of a small haul which we spoke about HERE. Hoping that you remember seeing the bottle, let us continue with the long pending review of the Alberto Balsam Sun Kissed Raspberry Shampoo.

Raspberry shampoo, who wouldn’t like to try a product with great fruity fragrance, when this bottle arrived, I was equally excited. Little did I know that it would not suit my scalp and hair?

Yes, sharing the bad experience with this pink yummy smelling shampoo.

The package is simple; the usual kind of shampoo bottle which reveals how much of the product is left in the bottle. The cap is sturdy with shape and design that allows easy controlled flow of the shampoo.

Frgarance is lovely too.

The colour and texture of the shampoo is appreciable. It isn’t neither too thick nor too very thin, easy flowing shampoo. This baby pink colored shampoo lathers in just the right amount for washing.

But what happened to my hair and scalp post shampooing is very bad. It dried my scalp terribly and hair strands went on to have hay-like structure.

Scalp had a sudden burst of dry flakes. I tried working out with this shampoo another couple of time with heavy oiling, since I had loved the smell of it.

But alas!! Nothing seems to change the drying of the scalp. It just did not suit me.

Rating : 2/5 Based on what happened to my hair and scalp.

• Perfect shampoo texture.
• Baby Pink in color.
• Lathers in the right amount.
• Easy to wash off.
• Easy handling bottle
• Travel friendly package.

Cons of Alberto Balsam Sun Kissed Raspberry Shampoo:

• Dries out scalp and hair terribly (personal experience)
• Not easily available in India

Recommendation: If at all you get a chance to try this brand, you might consider verifying the products on a personal basis. You never know; it might suit you well.

Just because the shampoo did not suit me; does not mean that the shampoo is bad altogether.
