Who does not like The Body Shop products? They have great
fragrance and promise to deliver the most refreshing feel after bath.
The flavors they come in are all tempting. The urge is
always such that anyone would want to buy all the variants together at a time.
Here is a brief review of The Body Shop Blueberry Shower Gel
Price: Rs. 450 for 250 ml
My experience with The Body Shop Blueberry Shower Gel:
Packaging: The
standard colorless bottles of TBS; the bottle look fat and stout with a wide
mouth open. The bottle has a screw cap which is also flip-able on top.
Nature: In the
bottle the shower gel seems to be deep blue resembling the color of blueberries.
When you pour it out, it is more of a transparent gel wit`h slight blue tint.
The shower gel is non-drying on skin.
Although it is not drying on the skin, body lotion or
moisturizer is a must after bath. The weather and hard-water combo in Bangalore
demands heavy skin moisturizing. Also, many a times I have experienced that
this shower gel takes lots of water to wash away. Blames goes to the hard
nature of the water here.
Fragrance: It has
lovely fragrance. Smells fruity (as expected), pleasant and refreshing.

Pros of The Body Shop Blueberry Shower Gel:
- Excellent fragrance.
- Cleanses skin well
- Refreshing feel after bath
- Does not dry the skin much
- Contains blueberry extracts, thus the shower gel feels like blueberry syrup
Cons of The Body Shop Blueberry Shower Gel:
- Requires more water to wash away. (This could be specific to the nature of water in Bangalore)
Recommendation: Yes. For a lovely fragrance, refreshing bath
and cleansing skin with fruit extract bath gel, The Body Shop Blueberry Shower
Gel is a good pick.
