 Maybelline Dream Matte powder, my shopping from the free vouchers provided by myntra.com. Lakme was my first and last compact choice until I got bored of using it. I opted for a change and choosed this product.

My Experience with Maybelline New York Dream Matte Powder, Beige:

Package:  This product has an impressive package :)

Flat circular shaped beige coloured case.  There is a press up to open the cap upwards, also a twisty cap (you have to twist towards left) where you can find a mirror attached along with a puff.  

Strange packing right? At the first look, I could not make out the two different compartments in it. I was cursing the product for its unavailability of built in mirror and puff. Later I found the twist cap at the corner with mirror and a good quality puff.

Nature: The texture is so soft and smooth, not at all dusty or powdery. The powder spreads neatly and gives a perfect matte look. Also the puff helps to blend the powder neatly with just one swipe. I usually apply it over a moisturizer. My skin felt dry when I used it alone, so a base is must for me. For very oily skin, you can use it alone.  

Foundations are the one which I never use, I have no idea how the combination works. 

The powder did not form a thick layer over my skin. But yes, if you puff it more than once , you can find white remains on your forehead. The main point here is, you will not find the necessity to apply more of it, one swipe stays for about 3 hours.

This matte powder is a perfect choice for daily wear and suits the best for Indian colour.
