What is your idea about colored
eye liners? I am still in a confused state of mind with color eye liners. I
still have starting trouble. I still have an unusual discomfort with color on
my upper lash line. This review post is so much contradicting to my thoughts.
Don’t you feel! How can I review a product when I am still not sure of my opinion
towards it !
People around me know I like to
collect eye shadows and occasionally wear eye shadows too. Now this has
imparted the idea that I would be super happy if I am gifted with cosmetics;
anything and any color. This is how a purple colored eye liner landed into my
hands. Ya…. Lakme Fantasy Shimmer Liner Mystic Mauve was a gift from one of my
dear friend.
That was a lot of storytelling
and history about Lakme Fantasy Shimmer Liner Mystic Mauve.
Package: A conical shaped bottle and cap; both together form the shape
of the cone. The bottle is as same as the liner color and the cap is gold in
color. The cap has a long handle with moderate length applicator. The bristles
in the applicator has super soft and bends in every possible angle applying the
color amazingly neat. Never have I come across this type of brush. Full marks
here for the quality and performance.
Texture: A colored thick texture which gives enough amount of mauve
color in a single line of application. It has shimmers of same mauve ish shade
which shines at certain angles. Shimmers do not fall out of the line.
Shade: It is a glowy purple with sheen in texture. Mystic Mauve is
a subtle kind of shade. It is not those dark typed ones.
Staying power: I have hardly used it outdoors. I use this mostly
indoors for improving my comfort zone of colored eyeliners. It sustains a water
splash and even face wash.
I have tried sleeping with this
eyeliner on my eyes. No, it fails here. Gets
chipped and broken. Well, nothing should be expected actually at this point.

Otherwise this eyeliner has stayed
on and on and on for me as long as I have washed it. So here, too this eyeliner
should be allotted full marks.

- Subsequent layers of application makes it look wrinkled.
Recommendation: For all colored eye liner fans, this range of
eyeliner is a great pick. I am still in the black or brownish black age of
eyeliners. So considering this fact about me, you can go ahead to grab this
range of colored eyeliners.
